Under what circumstances should you reduce your speed below the speed limit?
When roads are wet, slippery, or visibility is reduced, or if conditions are generally not ideal, it's wise to reduce your speed below the posted limit. Driving at a high speed under such circumstances can still lead to being penalized for unsafe driving, even if you're not exceeding the speed limit.
