Under what conditions does the Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) activate?
Some motorcycles feature an Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) that is engineered to avoid skids and prevent the wheels from locking up during sudden, straight-line stops. The system activates when the rider applies maximum force to both the front and rear brakes. Should the system's sensors detect potential wheel lock-up, ABS temporarily decreases and then reinstates brake pressure to continue effective braking without sacrificing control.
