Under what conditions does the Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) activate?
Some motorcycles come with an Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), a feature designed to avoid skidding and wheel lock-up during abrupt, straight-line stops. ABS functions by activating upon the application of maximum pressure to both the front and rear brakes. Should the electronic sensors sense a potential wheel lock, the system modulates braking pressure by first reducing, then restoring hydraulic pressure to ensure optimal braking performance.
