Upon nearing an obstacle or bumpy area that cannot be bypassed, what should you do?
If navigating over an unavoidable obstacle or uneven terrain, try to cross it at nearly a 90-degree angle. Reduce your speed as much as possible, keep the motorcycle upright, and stand slightly off your seat so your knees can better absorb the impact. Just before hitting the obstacle, gently roll on the throttle to lift the front end slightly.
