What should you do if avoiding a road obstacle is impossible?
If you must collide with an obstacle on the road, aim to encounter it at nearly a right angle. Reduce your speed as much as possible while maintaining the motorcycle in an upright position. Elevate yourself slightly from the seat and engage the throttle lightly to reduce the front-end load right before impact.
