What should you do when you can't avoid hitting an obstacle or uneven surface?
When you must ride over an obstacle or an uneven area, aim to hit it as perpendicular as possible, near a 90-degree angle. Decelerate to your lowest possible speed, ensure your motorcycle is vertical, and lift slightly off the seat to let your knees absorb the impact. Just before contact, gently increase throttle to ease the front wheel over the obstacle.
